The winery dog, Amos!
Rescued from the Sonoma County Animal Shelter in 2009, Amos was a scrappy fella in need of a few good meals and a warm bed. He made friends with all the employees at the shelter, including the postman and delivery men. Though loved by all, he still had a hard time landing a permanent home due to his large size and puppy-reminiscent clumsiness.
Today, Amos is thriving and has that permanent home with Chelsea and Austin. He runs in the vineyards, boat rides on Lake Sonoma, and swims in the Russian River. His day's work. Always a smile on his face and hugs to give, he has proven to be a gentle, loving, and loyal companion to all around him.
Congratulations "Famous Amos" on being featured inWine Dogs California!
